Caraga State University or CSU president Dr. Anthony M. Penaso, happily shared the State-Of-The-Art University Library, the Elisa R. Ochoa learning commons of the university located in Butuan City, Caraga region.

According to Dr. Penasa, it is expected to help more than 2,000 learners in various parts of Mindanao, as well as throughout the country and is called the biggest state university in Mindanao.

He is also proud of the said university library, because it is the first in the country with locator maps, automated book drop system and nap pads. There are three floors and various amenities, unique services, coffee shops, decision theater, exhibit area, museum, auditorium, discussion rooms, activity lofts, story telling area and many more.

The university, which costs more than 254 million pesos and will be open to the public to help the needs of learners, it has 48 CCTVs and a wall of merits, where all the board of examination top-notchers of the university will be placed.

CSU is the first state university of the Caraga region, with over 10,000 students including those who are enrolled in the Cabadbaran City, Agusan del Norte campus.
