About 150 individuals were vaccinated against COVID-19, in the first mobile vaccination by the San Marcelino local government in Zambales.

They are residents of barangays San Rafael and Rabanes where 73 belong to priority group A2 or senior citizens while 77 belong to priority group A3 or those with comorbidity.

According to Municipal Information Officer Jeffrey Paulo, its goal is to make the vaccination roll-out in the town smoother, safer, and faster.

Due to this activity the highest number of individuals vaccinated against COVID-19 in just one day was recorded last Friday.

Up to 439 individuals were vaccinated in the town of which 150 were from the Mobile Vaccination while 289 were from the Municipal Vaccination Center.

In total, 4,267 individuals have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in San Marcelino.

Of that number, 2,480 received their first dose while 1,787 were fully vaccinated.
