I was asked how my trip was after I got back home.
I didn't know what to answer but I just smiled. What I knew was that I was happy. It was a trip of my firsts.
None of the sisters I went with knew it was my first time. Part of me was shy to tell them but I believe that was not the important thing they need to know anyway. It was fun!
My first airplane ride.
My first trip ever to Manila.
My first trip away from family not just outside the city but outside the region.
My first time navigating the Metro with google maps. This was a fun experience for us. This should be taught at school, navigating roads through google maps. Just a thought.
My first Feast Conference experience. I've prayed and waited for this. What an amazing experience. Looking forward to next year already!
I could go on for the first time of the things I've experienced and I am thankful for those.
Thank God for allowing me this time to travel with amazing people. It was a safe, fun-filled and memorable adventure.
With that, I realize that by not limiting ourselves to the territories where we are in comfort we learn more of the world. We learn more about people, life and ourselves even more.
More stories on the next entry! 🥰
Love,
A
