As of 8 a.m., the gates were opened up to 3 meters, with the reservoir water level (RWL) at 187.81 meters—close to the 190-meter normal high water level (NHWL). On Friday, only one gate was open at 1 meter, with the RWL slightly higher at 188.06 meters. Magat Dam, located along the Magat River and spanning the provinces of Ifugao and Isabela, is closely monitored during periods of heavy rainfall. PAGASA has warned that parts of Luzon will be affected by the trough of Tropical Storm Bebinca on Saturday, leading to isolated rain showers and thunderstorms. Flash floods and landslides may occur during severe storms. | | | |
